Online booking

Booking that bends to your salon. Not the other way around.

Plenty of grooming salons still take every appointment by phone. Not because they want to, but because the usual booking tools cannot be set up to match how a grooming day actually runs.

  • โ€œI cannot take a Newfoundland at 8 in the morning. That dog is three hours.โ€
  • โ€œMy hours are different every day of the week.โ€
  • โ€œTuesday I eat lunch, and I want that hour left alone.โ€
  • โ€œSome weeks I only want my own clients getting in.โ€

A one-size-fits-all scheduler cannot handle any of that, so the salon gives up on it. GroomCard was built for exactly this. Clients book themselves, inside the rules you set.

Online booking is in the free plan too โ€” up to 10 bookings a month with no credit card.

What you get to set

  • Big dogs in the morning only

For every dog size you set the window you will take it - large dogs before 12:00 PM, say. Smaller dogs keep booking the rest of the day.

  • Different hours every day

Your hours are set day by day. Open at 7 on Wednesday, close at 2 on Friday, closed Sunday. Nothing has to repeat.

  • A lunch break nobody can book over

Block 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and no slot is offered inside it. The day splits cleanly into a morning and an afternoon.

  • Every service takes as long as it really takes

Each service carries a price and a length. A two-hour full groom never lands in a 45-minute gap, because it is never offered there.

  • Existing clients only, when you want

Leave booking open to anyone, or switch to registered clients only. The client enters the access code from their record and their details fill in for them.

  • Or approve every one yourself

Bookings can drop straight into the calendar, or arrive as requests you approve with one tap. Nobody you have not met lands on your books.

Open times work themselves out

They come from your business hours, the length of the service the client picked, the appointments already on the books, your time blocks, and the window for that dog size. Times that have passed drop off, and when two people tap the same slot the second one is told it just went. You do not get double-booked.

  • Offer times on a 10, 15, 20, 30, or 60 minute grid
  • Let clients book 7 to 180 days ahead
  • Cut off bookings a set time before the slot - two hours, say

Your own booking page

Clients get an address that looks like groomcard.com/r/your-salon. Upload your logo, write one welcome line, add your city, and that is the whole setup.

Preview: a large dog and a two-hour full groom. The last time offered is 10:00 AM โ€” anything later would not fit inside the before-noon window.

Client login

Clients log in and see their own dogs

It does not have to be an anonymous one-off booking. A regular logs in and sees their dogs, the times those dogs usually need, and the prices you set for them. Booking takes a few taps, because the system already knows who they bring and how long it takes.

  • Clients get their own login

A client logs in and finds every dog they bring you, plus their visit history. No typing a name and a phone number over and over - the booking form fills itself in.

  • A price per dog, not per service

You can set your own length and price on a specific dog, even a service that only applies to that dog. A big curly mix takes longer, and the client sees that real time and price the moment they book.

  • Slots that fit the dog

A dog you already know gets offered exactly the time it usually takes. A new dog gets a slot sized by its weight class and the service picked.

Per-dog prices and times come straight from what you keep on the dog in dog records. Booking and the dog record stay in step โ€” when a booking comes in, the dog and the client are created and matched by name.

The free plan covers up to 10 online bookings a month and 10 clients. When you want more, you move up to Pro โ€” until then you pay nothing and no card is needed.
